How about start or finish the rally with US National Anthem ?

Does it matter whether the 485 is employment based or family based? I have a valid H1 (not stamped) and have just applied for adjustment of status (based on marriage to a USC) and AP. When I return from the planned travel, can I continue working for the company that I am currently employed with?
My H1 is valid until Q3 of '09.

Hi Guys,
Considering that we have all spent enough time stuck in the same job for several years it makes sense to prepare for the time if/when we actually get green card.
So I was wondering if anyone here has weighed and compared the cost and benefit of PMP vs MBA. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Friends, please suggest. I bought ICICI lombard 3 times previously, never had to use it, so no comments there. Now, I'm thinking of buying something better as I had heard horrible things about ICICI lombard.
Anybody who has had a parent with diabetes and taken insurance? If there were any problems, did the insurance pay the costs? If possible can you also mention what problems came up during the stay.

some sort of recapture is better than none !!! we should try to have some relief for EB but let us not stand in the way of FB ..the reason is simple, unused FB visas overflow in to EB (if I am not mistaken) ...In fact that is one of the reason that EB2 India did not move much this year since they are more efficient with FB visa this year (see the pace at which it is moving this year as opposed to last year) so better to wait and watch.

This is really sad that they count all dependents under employement category. USCIS should treat all categories in same way. Can't we raise this issue?
Thats a very good point , If they dont count the dependents in Family based cateogry , why are they counting in Employment Based cateogry . Again may be rules are different but we can defiently raise this question

Ok, if advertising is too far-fetched, then hold some cultural events and make money on those. Brainstorm with members to find other ways to make money.
Organizing cultural events does sound like a good idea, but again the problem is "organizing". I volunteered in a few cultural event organizations and know that its hardwork and need many volunteers even in a small city (especially if its a fund-raising type). My understanding is state chapters are crying for members, if state chapters have enough volunteers it would be a good idea.
I think there were many brainstorming discussions on fund raising earlier on these forums. The problem with these anonymous forums are that anyone can give a suggestion and then do nothing about it (I am guilty of the same sometimes). Thats why I liked the idea of state chapters where members know each other and may be able to motivate each other to volunteer some time/money/etc.

Thanks ak27... based on your suggestion, I have started enquiry on my case through congressman.
I also talked to second level I/O and she told me that it may be due to pending biometrics (what a relief to hear that). She didn't give me any other details so still not sure what's going (no SLUDs yet). I haven't recd any finger print notice since my first one in sep'07 so that kind of makes sense.
